Get Mattresses
A Good Mattress
Changes Everything
For families navigating housing instability, crisis, or transition, a clean, safe place to sleep is often the first step toward stability. Sleep for Change connects eligible donated mattresses to the organizations that serve the people who need them most.
I Need A Mattress For
Myself Or My Family
Right now, Sleep for Change works through partner organizations rather than giving mattresses to families directly: we supply the shelters, housing programs, and service organizations that serve people in need, and they get mattresses to the families they work with. We're working to expand this so we can reach more people over time.
If you need a mattress, the best step is to connect with a local organization that can help. Reach out through the form below, and we'll do our best to point you to a partner in your area, or dial 211 to find housing and basic-needs services near you.
Every mattress we place meets a clear standard: clean, unstained, and undamaged. Because everyone deserves a safe place to sleep.
I Represent An Organization
That Serves People In Need
If your organization works with people who need a safe place to sleep, we want to hear from you. We partner with shelters, transitional and emergency housing, veteran and refugee services, recovery and rehabilitation centers, programs serving people with disabilities, and foster care organizations.
There is no cost to join the network. We match donated mattresses to partners based on location and need, and let you know when mattresses are available in your area.
Contact Us
Tell us a little about yourself, and we will be in touch.
We review all submissions and respond as quickly as possible. Sleep for Change is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We never sell your information, and we share it only with a partner organization when that's needed to connect you with help.
Sleep for Change was founded on a simple belief: that a good night's sleep is not a privilege. If you are unsure whether you or your organization qualifies, reach out anyway. We would rather hear from you.
